Savoring these Moments: More Beauty

We started with more fun today, early. We decided to go to Descanso Gardens with Grandma Ginny, and our sweet friends, Pat and Jana. The girls seemed a little tired, but where ready to go. What little troopers I have.

Then, the beauty began. Where to start? My camera was clicking away and I was a happy camper.

Bryce got a special treat out of this day too. There was a great little train for her to ride on and she did so with her Grandma Ginny.

After the train ride, it was time to capture more beauty!

It was warm and Jana was such a trooper with all the walking (she is due in June), it was time for her to get off her feet, so they needed to leave. We loved sharing this special outing with them. Thanks for coming and for paying our way Pat and Jana.

We decided to eat lunch there at the garden and it was so perfect. In a little courtyard, next to a Koi pond. Oh, and the food was great too.

Right before we left and they were enjoying their cookies, I snuck back for just a few more picture. I couldn't help myself, I was in awe.

After we left the garden we stopped off for a quick trip to a store we never get to go to. We were on the hunt for a special dinner, and we found it. Last night for dinner we had Burger King in the car and that was a special treat too. Each bite was for Grandma, but tonight we were eating at home and I was feeling rather spoiled.

Alan always makes my birthday dinner and I enjoyed that free time on the floor with the girls. We always place Kendall on a big blanket on the floor, but tonight she decided to make it her wrestling partner.
