What is it about Santa that is so terrifying to children? What is the reason, we parents want a picture of our children with Santa? Both situations have so many different scenarios. But, today, Bryce was the classic visitor to Santa, totally scared.
After her little school program and singing on stage, Santa walked in and she immediately was afraid. With a little coaxing from her best friends Mom, and a promise that Kendall would sit with her, Bryce made it in line. But, the fear took over when it came time to sit on his lap. She wanted to hold her teachers hand, and not give me one of those wonderful smiles. Kendall was looking out for her big sister, because she started pulling on Santa's beard. I was so glad that I didn't have to pay for pictures or wait in a really long line to see my daughter be in fear. Hopefully, she will learn to love Santa before she learns that he is well, you know.
