Charlotte and Bryce have such a special little relationship. Each week we get to see that relationship evolve into much more. They learn so much from each other and share so many first together. Today, they were able to spend a little time doing something that they love to do and that is sidewalk chalk. How fun, scribble, color, make a mess, and then wash it all down with the hose. What a great little activity and one that will always be fun.
Charlotte decided that being a Walrus sounded like a great idea. I must admit, she is pretty cute.
~~~Big Day(or so we hoped)!!!~~~
Could it be true? Would today, this try be the one that would let us know if we should be looking at pink or blue? One choice, either a yes I want to know or a no, we want to wait and there is a possibility to find out the gender of your child before birth. We had (briefly) talked about waiting, you know getting a big surprise, but neither one of us could wait, we wanted to know.
So, today after a few previous attempts, Alan and I walked into the Dr's with the firm answer of YES, we want to know, but with the realization that we may not find out. Eager and with a full bladder, it was our turn. After looking, measuring and checking all our little ones organs (which seemed like an eternity) it was time....
a little girl!!!
We thank you for your continued prayers over this pregnancy and this little one. I am currently 19 weeks along and have been out of bed for 2 weeks (yeah!). I have an appointment in another week and if there are any changes to me or this little one, it is back to bed for us till delivery day. So far, everything is looking great and we want to keep it that way. I really enjoy being able to be out of bed and want it to stay that way. Once again, we will keep you posted through this blog on the "bean sprout".
